Christmas Reminiscing

I'm feeling a bit blue at the moment. Life seems to be flying by at a pace never before experienced. Christmas came and went so fast that I hardly even had time to enjoy it. Now we are staring down at our up-coming trip to the Philippines and before you know it, that will be over too.

So I'm just reflecting on Christmases past. We've had some great times to be sure. I prefer not to think of the occasional stressful time, but we've had some of those too. I guess any holiday that holds as much sentiment as Christmas is bound to generate some extra stress that we really don't need. Regardless, I still continue to seek for that somewhat elusive feeling from my childhood. That feeling of awe and wonder.

I guess as I watch my own children grow up, I'm seeing in them the same things that I experienced. Eventually they will find they have somehow lost some of the magic, and will spend the rest of their lives trying to find it again. In part, they will find it when they have children of their own. As long as there are children, Christmas will have magic.

Anyway, as always, I've posted our Christmas pictures on my photo gallery. We had a fun time, and I think you can see that in the pictures.

Enjoy.
